Life of Infamous Men

Pierre Rivière is a young peasant who beheaded with one scythe his pregnant mother, his teenage sister and his seven yea. Once arrested, he writes a long memorial to try to explain the reasons of his act.

Herculine Barbin, a hermaphrodite created in convents and boarding femin schools until the age of twenty-two, is forced to accept his "true" male sex and write his memories on a diary.

Both commit suicide.

The French philosopher Michel Foucault brought to light some strange and wild autobiographies, along with medical papers and legal dossiers.

Michel Foucault is the one who give the plays a name – A Vida dos Homens Infames (The Life of the Infamous Men)
